Cancellation Policy
The Starry Night Inn cancellation policy requires a 48 hour notice of your cancellation. If you book 4 or more nights we need 1 weeks notice of cancellation. However we prefer to know as soon as possible so we can procure other bookings. When cancelling your reservation please TEXT the innkeeper at (503) 738-7825 and tell them the dates you are cancelling and the name you reserved with us. If you do not receive a confirmation of your cancellation via email, text us to confirm your cancellation.
Pet Policy
Victorian Lodge - No animals are allowed in the Victorian Lodge, fines apply.
Cabins - There is no charge for pets as long as the unit is in good order. These are the conditions in which you will be charged:
There is excessive fur requiring extra housekeeping ($10 per pet)
Our paint is scratched ($20 for paint touch up)
Our furniture is damaged (repair or replacement fee).
Sea Glass Inn - No pets are allowed in any of these units.
Seafare - We allow pets to stay in these units, same conditions apply as above.
Grounds - Pets must be on a leash when on the property. Pets are allowed in the spa, but not in the soaking tubs.
Spa
The spa can be reserved up to 24 hours in advance of your booking by texting the innkeeper. You may also wait until you arrive to reserve the spa. Spa sessions are 1 hour and 30 minutes long. See spa page for more details.
Please note that the spa does not have a public restroom. If you cancel your room reservation with us you also must cancel your spa reservation at least 12 hours in advance or you will be charged for the full amount of your spa.
Early Check-In / Late Check-Out
Early check-ins and late check-outs are still possible, there is a $10 fee for each hour extended on your booking. Early check-ins and late check-outs MUST be requested at least 24 hours prior to your arrival. We cannot accomodate all early check-ins and late check-outs. Please understand that we are a small inn with a small staff and need enough time to fully prepare each unit prior to the next reservation.
Damages
In the event that guests damage property, wares, or furniture, repairs and/or replacement fees will be assessed. $50 fee for damaged linens.
Child Policy
It is recommended that children under the age of 7 do not stay in the Victorian Lodge. Noise travels further in the lodge i.e, loud voices, running up and down the stairs, etc. Children must be supervised in the Victorian, as there are many valuable/breakable items in our lobby. If you believe that your child under 7 can stay safe without disrupting other guests while under your supervision, feel free to book a unit in the Victorian Lodge, otherwise our cabins or Sea Glass Inn are more conducive to children. We do not recommend that small children stay in Seafare as the gas fireplaces in both units get very hot to the touch. However, we do provide fireplace screens for your use.
